What is NPS and how does it affect your business?

NPS, or a Net Promoter Score, can be singular or multi-faceted depending upon the nature of the organization. Most organizations can make sense of the concept of how internal and external customers or stakeholders, can affect one another. Happy employees have been proven to be more productive overall in all industry settings.

Internal customers or also often known as employees, contractors, laborers, etc. There are many titles for those that make an organization as well as the economy move. There are many different skill sets and professional development needs to fill the requirements of everyone. This can sometimes cause internal friction which can affect external customer experiences. 

External customers obviously are the life blood of any organization no matter what the focus of the organization is. It should be the main focus of any organization to ensure that whatever service or product they provide is to the expectation of their respective market. However, sometimes it is the small things in life that make all the difference and can make or break any company.

 Internal operations that are not organized, empowered, and educated in their respective professions, can sometimes suffer market share loss due to something as small as a required phrase expected of a sales associate or customer service representative that doesn't quite hit the ear of the customer well.
